Lou Kinzli, Broker
Lou began his real estate career in 1969 in Denver, Colo. In 1980 he
brought his expertise to Fort Collins, Colo. with one of the largest and
prestigious companies in Colorado. In 1990, together with his wife Linda, he opened
his own brokerage, Kinzli & Co., also in Fort Collins. His expertise
includes all facets of real estate, commercial, farm and ranch, development
property, residential acreages and residential homes. He loved the wide-open
spaces that northern Fort Collins and Wellington offered; he also enjoyed
helping people to achieve their dream of having a home in the country. He felt
that Waverly and Wellington were going to be areas of growth and moved his
business to Wellington in 1998. His prediction of continued healthy growth in
Wellington has come true.
Linda Kinzli, Associate Broker, Office Manager
Linda began her real estate career in 1963 as an executive
assistant with Environmental Developers Inc. in Denver, Colo. They specializing
in condominiums. She became a licensed Realtor in 1978 selling real estate in
Fort Collins, Colo. She started working with Lou as a team in 1983 at a local
real estate office and together started Kinzli & Co in 1990. Lou and
Linda, raised five daughters, maintained their 160-acre ranch and continue to
manage their real estate office. She is an active promoter of the Wellington
community, volunteering with Wellington Fire Department Auxiliary, Boys and
Girls Club, and Senior Center. Linda is a master of customer service and
is always available to keep customers happy and informed.
Kareen
Kinzli Larsen, Associate Broker
Kareen, Lou and Linda’s youngest daughter, has been with Kinzli & Co. as an
associate broker since 2000. She was Lou’s assistant for two years prior to
earning her brokers license. She graduated from Colorado University in 1999 with
a finance and marketing degree. She specializes in first time homebuyers,
helping them to not only find a home, but also to help them acclimate to the new
community. Kareen grew up on an acreage in the Waverly area and rode horses
competitively, giving her a unique perspective to horse properties. She enjoys
helping people find their ideal piece of land in the country. She and her
husband, Blake, own Larsen Design and Construction, a general contracting
company, so she can offer insights into
the new home market.
B.J.
Lorentzen, Associate Broker
B.J. has had her Colorado Real Estate license for the past 10
years and is excited to help Wellington's residents with their real estate
needs. Along with her husband Larry, who is Wellington's Town Manager,
daughters Jennifer and Maria, and four-year-old Dachshund, Levi, B.J. moved to
Wellington from Idaho Springs, Colorado, almost three years ago. While she
enjoys other activities such as camping and sightseeing, her true joy comes from
helping people with their real estate needs. In the future, she would like
to help facilitate Wellington's growth while helping to preserve its small town
appeal. B.J.'s goal is to be an active member of the Wellington community
and to get to know it's residents.
Carl
O. George, Associate Broker
Carl joined the Kinzli & Co.
Real Estate Team in 2005. He is Level I certified in title escrow and abstract
from the Land Title Institute furnishing him with a more thorough knowledge of
real estate beyond sales, listings and contracts. Carl lives on a horse ranch
north of Wellington and enjoys working with clients searching for their dream
home in the country as well as those looking for just the right place in town.
Carl is alumni of Colorado State University and has lived in the Wellington/Fort
Collins area for more than 10 years allowing him real estate insight to share
with newcomers and established residents alike. He welcomes the opportunity to
provide you with a full range of real estate services and looks forward to
working with you personally throughout your property sale or purchase.
Susan
Schjodt, Associate Broker
Susan started her career in Real
Estate in 2003 after spending 5 years in banking. She hails from South Dakota
but the Air Force moved her out west. Along with her fiancé Al, they moved here
from Cheyenne, WY. After working as an agent for about a year, Susan decided to
take on the job of a licensed assistant to Lou and Kareen. Now after a year and
a half she is back in the saddle as a full time agent. She specializes in
top-notch customer service and works diligently to ensure her customer’s needs
are met. Living in Wellington also gives her an edge with determining the state
of the market and what’s happening in the community.
